September 13: Invited to talk about Moral Matters. A Philosophy of Homecoming on Irish national radio RTE Radio 1 Extra ‘Sunday Spirit’ programme (between 6’36 and 39’41). I will post the podcast of it here when available. The interview was mentioned in the Irish Catholic.

December 11: Invited to address an international conference entitled ‘Penser avec Derrida, où qu’il soit’ organized by the Collège International de Philosophie to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the death of Jacques Derrida. The conference takes place at the Institut Mémoires de l’Edition Contemporaine located near Caen, France, where my correspondence with Derrida is kept. The title of my talk shall be ‘The Long Goodbye’.
December 10: Invited to give a lecture on Kierkegaard at the University of Caen Lower Normandy, France, by the Department of Philosophy, the ‘Identité & Subjectivité‘ research group, by Nordic Studies scholars from the ‘Equipe de Recherches sur les Littératures, les Imaginaires et les Sociétés’ (ERLIS), and by the Irish Studies Research Centre (ERIBIA-GREI). My lecture shall be entitled ‘No Direction Home. Kierkegaard on the Present Age’.
September 4: Invited to give a lecture on ‘Raising Boys Today’ at Terenure College. The lecture is at 7.30pm and all school parents are welcome to attend.

January 31: Lecture at Muckross College, Donnybrook, Dublin, as part of the Catholic Schools Week. Invited along with Archbishop of Dublin Dr Diarmuid Martin who talked about Catholic doctrine, I gave a lecture on the search for meaning beyond evolutionary science.
